It’s not been as historical as the football World Cup. In fact, this is just the 9th Rugby World Cup ever, and it’s being hosted by Japan. However, that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t garner as much passion and emotion. Look at the faces of the fans as they watch their home nation and be in no doubt. You will see passion, pride, joy and frustration. In fact, the fans support their team with such heart, other sports would do well to take notice.
This is the very first time the World Cup has been hosted by an Asian country. There will be twenty teams, playing a total of 48 games, and it will last six exciting, action-packed weeks. This will come to a head with the final on 2nd November. England hasn’t got an easy group – same as last time. Then there’s Wales, who is grouped with the Aussies.
Here, we take you through all the latest and best Rugby World Cup betting offers, free bets and promotions, whether you want enhanced odds, money back bets or more.

The point system is a little different from the scoring system in football, and it isn’t just decided by win lose or draw. The amount of tries a team gets also affects their score for the match. In fact, it is possible to lose a match and still get a couple of points. In general, the team will get 4 points for a win, 2 for a draw and none for a loss, but other bonus points and factors can come into play. For example, score over 4 tries and get a bonus point. Also, if a team loses by less than 7 points can also still get points. Let’s see how it is broken down.
